Today I would like to direct you to this post by YA author Jessica Spotswood (Born Wicked/ Star Cursed). Jessica shares a very candid post about what she has learnt in 2013. As someone who wants to be traditionally published, I like to read all I can about what it’s going to be like when it finally happens, so I was so glad that Jessica was brave enough to share what she has.
Jessica got the big book deal and the tour and her numbers were really good for a debut author, but they weren’t bestseller numbers as expected, so she felt like she was a failure and let everyone down. It is really worth the read so go on over to Jessica’s website and check it out.
