At the end of June, I was finally able to announce that a story of mine is going to be in a YA fantasy anthology!

I cannot wait to share Ryesa and Rune’s story with you. If you are in Australia you can preorder it from Rhiza Press. It will also be available at Amazon. Folks overseas I am hoping the ebook will be available to you through Amazon. I will keep you posted.
Now, for the writing I did during June:
Short Stories:
- I worked on edits for my poem for the Project Oz Poetry anthology.
- I drafted a contemporary short story that I wanted to send to an anthology. I couldn’t get it edited before the deadline so I will put this one aside for now.
- You may recall I sent a short story to the Winter Chiller anthology. Unfortunately, that has been postponed. Those who submitted are invited to resubmit if they end up opening again.
Novels:
- The majority of my time was spent finishing and editing A Dragon For Christmas. I will post the last chapters to my blog in July, just in time for Christmas in July!
- I worked on Project Portal Fantasy. I focused on fixing up the first three chapters, writing the synopsis and query letter. And then I sent a query to a publisher.
That’s it for now. Keep an eye out for those A Dragon For Christmas chapters. I posted a new one yesterday and from tomorrow will post a new one until it is finished.
