Chapter Seventeen. Returning Home. Olen drives us to the woods in the sleigh. Poplyn comes for a ride, wanting to be with Ashlyn to the very end. He parks near the trees that contain the portal. Chapter Sixteen: Dawning of the Light. Though the wedding didn’t go late, I hardly slept last night, replaying the kisses between Ashlyn and I over in my head. Chapter Eleven: A Trip To The Market. After breakfast the next morning, Ashlyn and I decide to go to the outdoor market beyond the next village.
