This is going to be a shorter update than usual. The beginning of February was hard with my Father-in-law’s funeral. I decided it was best to slow down for February as I grieved his loss, so I didn’t work on as many things as I normally would, which was what I needed.
Short Stories:
- I edited the three stories that were accepted into Havok. They are now all ready for publication in April.
- I wrote and edited a Wizard of Oz themed story, and submitted it to the Twenty Hills Project Oz Prose anthology.
- I wrote and edited a Wizard of Oz themed poem, and submitted it to the Twenty Hills Project Oz Poem anthology.
- I had a flash fiction story already written that I thought would be a good fit for Sparkler Magazine’s theme, so I edited that and submitted it.
Novels:
- I managed to read over six chapters of Project Portal Fantasy.
I had hoped to get A Dragon For Christmas finished by the end of February but I barely looked at it, so I’m hoping to get it done in the first half of March. I have about ten chapters to go before it is finished.
That’s it from me.
How did your writing go in February? Did you reach your writing goals. Let me know in the comments.
