I am excited to be joining in the cover reveal for Caligo, the stand-alone sequel to The Nightingale Trilogy (Calor, Luman, and Memoria). It completes the story of the series’ most beloved character. It is best enjoyed after reading the trilogy but can be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel.
If you love fantasy and haven’t read this trilogy, I highly recommend you do so!
And here it is….

The cover is designed by MoorBooks Design. (Based on the original trilogy design by Kirk DouPonce.)
Here is the mostly spoiler free synopsis:
The Nightingale Trilogy’s most beloved character finally gets his own book in this stand-alone sequel novel to the original series which is best enjoyed after finishing Memoria but can be read as a stand-alone novel. Caligo is a gender-swapped transformation of Beauty and the Beast where both hero and heroine are beautiful and beastly in different ways. This sequel is set in a land of monsters (not Caldera) and features enemies-to-lovers romance, a miniature chicken sidekick (who may be prophetic), a Pegasus, a Flynn Rider type hero, and a Mother Gothel like antagonist (with a twist).
(I will put the longer, spoiler synopsis at the end of the post for those who want it. )
Caligo releases May 15th in ebook, paperback, and special edition hardback, and is available for pre-order now!
and you can add it to your Goodreads here.
Here is the longer one THAT CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE ORIGINAL TRILOGY:

How far would you go to outrun the person you used to be?
In search of freedom and a fresh start, Cassius Vera sails for unexplored lands in the hope that he can forget the one woman he has ever truly loved, the only one to look past his gifts and superficial charm to the real man beneath. But Cass is carrying more than bad memories, and one slip in front of his new shipmates could send him back into slavery once again . . . or worse.
Fleeing heartbreak and false accusations of murder, werebeast Zaire Delmar stows away onboard a ship, wanting to get as far away from Caldera as possible. She doesn’t expect to meet Cass, an alter whose stunning good looks rival even hers, nor does she anticipate the surprising affinity she shares with him. When Cass offers his protection, Zaire spurns his help. She is half beast—she can take care of herself. And the last thing she needs is to get closer to a man in whose presence she cannot lie, even if he’s offering to share her sorrow.
But after a shipwreck catapults them into a new world even more dangerous than the land they left behind, Zaire is forced to depend on the only ally she has left. The same man she betrayed, not so many months ago.
