I like this new feature, Rochelle, and I look forward to seeing more writing quotes (I love quotes).
I definitely agree with this. I think there is somewhat of a belief that writing books (and then getting those books published) is not that hard. When really, it is VERY hard. You can get discouraged by a sentence that you’re not proud of, you can write entire scenes that you delete. You have to research things and actually think of the plot and the characters and everything else that makes up those thousands of words.

Yes, this quote is so, so accurate! I love the idea of this new segment. I can’t get enough writing quotes! This one, in particular, is one of my favourites, because writing a novel is A LOT of hard work.
